After breaking the PlayStation 4\u2032s ten-month winning streak as the best selling console in November and December, it has officially reinstated the $349.99 holiday price which is largely credited towards that success. <em>Xbox Wire<\/em> confirmed the story along with a two minute video of Xbox Boss Phil Spencer discussing what is in store for 2015.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The new discount kicks in on Jan. 16th, and it will remain for an unspecified amount of time.\u00a0Corporate Vice President of Marketing for Xbox\u00a0Michael Nichols confirmed with<em>Polygon<\/em> that this price drop is <strong>not<\/strong> a permanent one, and the company has just not determined a length.<\/p>\n<p>Smart thing to say considering many people bought the $349 Xbox One over the holiday because they knew the discount was not permanent.
