Apple on Tuesday released iOS 8.1.3, introducing a slew of new big fixes, enhancements and other new updates.<\/p>\n<p>This is very incremental in nature, which means you shouldn\u2019t expect a completely new experience. What you can expect, however, is a much smoother, stable experience\u2014and hopefully one that doesn\u2019t crash and break every few minutes.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Today\u2019s update to iOS 8.1.3 is available for all devices running iOS 8, including the iPhone 4s and up, iPad 2 and up and the fifth generation iPod touch.<\/p>\n<p>According to the \u201cLearn More\u201d tab of the update, iOS 8.1.3 includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reduces the amount of storage required to perform a software update<\/li>\n<li>Fixes an issue that prevented some users from entering their Apple ID password for Messages and FaceTime<\/li>\n<li>Addresses an issue that caused Spotlight to stop displaying app results<\/li>\n<li>Fixes an issue which prevented multitasking gestures from working on iPad<\/li>\n<li>Adds new configuration options for education standardized testing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>With iOS 8.1.3 out, Apple is likely moving its attention to iOS 8.2, which we\u2019re expecting toinclude support for the Apple Watch.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sit down, connect to Wi-Fi and back up your phone: it\u2019s time to update.
