What comes in April is featured in the video above directly from Microsoft.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>As for what the update includes in text form? The&nbsp;<em>Xbox Wire<\/em> pushed out a full rundown.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Party chat improvements&nbsp;<\/strong>\u2013<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>Over the past few months, we\u2019ve added&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/news.xbox.com\/2015\/03\/xbox-one-xbox-one-march-system-update\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">additional icons and notifications<\/a>&nbsp;within the party chat experience to help you understand your connection and microphone status. This month, party chat is being improved with troubleshooting guidance for Xbox One owners.&nbsp;The party app will help you get your microphone enabled and show you when privacy settings or networking issues are blocking communication with particular party members.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Game hub links&nbsp;<\/strong>\u2013 In February,&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/news.xbox.com\/2015\/02\/xbox-one-xbox-one-february-system-update\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">we introduced game hubs<\/a>&nbsp;where you can be the first to get news on upcoming updates, featured game clips, behind the scenes content and more. With this update, you can more easily discover game hub content from activity feed items. You\u2019ll see activity feed items when any of your friends follow a game, and you\u2019ll also be able to get back to a game\u2019s hub from activity feed posts related to the game \u2013 including feed items about the game\u2019s achievements, game clips and screenshots. Finally, we\u2019ve added a link to game hubs from the game\u2019s page in the achievements app.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Achievement notifications&nbsp;<\/strong>\u2013 Achievement notifications today display the achievement name and the gamerscore you just earned. With tonight\u2019s update, you\u2019ll also see the achievement\u2019s description in the notification so you know what you did to earn this achievement without having to open the achievements app.&nbsp; Based on feedback from preview program members, we increased the time that an achievement notification is displayed and we also made some performance improvements to make loading the achievements app from a notification faster.<\/li>\n<li><strong>What\u2019s On&nbsp;<\/strong>\u2013 The What\u2019s On area is now available for Xbox One users in the U.S., Canada, and the UK. In it, you\u2019ll find links to popular videos, games, movies, TV shows, game broadcasts and clips, along with Trending TV shows if you have configured OneGuide for your Xbox One console.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Which brings us to the bad news. We had word that Microsoft is working on dedicated servers for voice chat. If users can\u2019t establish a voice chat connection that works when forming parties, the Xbox One will take over and use dedicated servers from Microsoft in order to host the discussion.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s staying in preview mode for now. Microsoft isn\u2019t ready to unleash dedicated server voice chat unto the world just yet, so we won\u2019t see that with today\u2019s system update.
