The next entry in the\u00a0<em>Fallout<\/em> series has been officially unveiled after tons of rumors, a single day countdown and the tease of an iconic set of words with a hashtag: #PleaseStandBy.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t worry, they use \u201cwar never changes\u201d again.<\/p>\n<p><em>Fallout 4<\/em> has been announced. It\u2019s been almost five years since we\u2019ve had a proper entry in the\u00a0<em>Fallout<\/em> series with\u00a0<em>Fallout: New Vegas<\/em>\u2018 launch in October of 2010. If you only want to count numbered main entries,\u00a0<em>Fallout 3<\/em> came out all the way back in October of 2008. Wow.<\/p>\n<p>This <i>Fallout\u00a0<\/i>will only be available on the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. That means last generation\u2019s devices are out of the loop.<\/p>\n<p>Now, based on the trailer and screenshots, this\u00a0<em>Fallout<\/em> might occur over a massive, massive region. Scollay Square is featured, and that\u2019s located in Boston, MA. The other shots sort of suggest a mountainous, Western region. The vast majority of the clip, though, points towards Boston.<\/p>\n<p>Bethesda is hosting its own E3 presentation for the first time ever this year. That starts on Sunday night, June 14, 2015. We\u2019ll be in attendance for that show, so expect word from us as it rolls. I would imagine we\u2019ll see even more from <i>Fallout 4<\/i> at the presentation.<\/p>\n<p>What do you think of the reveal?
