All three are set to hit this fall, and it\u2019d be a huge surprise if we didn\u2019t see some gameplay from each.\u00a0<em>Gears of War<\/em> announcements are almost guaranteed at this point, with a release date for the remastered\u00a0<em>Gears of War<\/em> and maybe a teaser for\u00a0<em>Gears of War 4<\/em>. Microsoft paid $2.5 billion for\u00a0<em>Minecraft,\u00a0<\/em>so they\u2019re sure to give it some screen time as well.<\/p>\n<p>We know that Remedy\u2019s\u00a0<em>Quantum Break<\/em>, the next\u00a0<em>Crackdown<\/em> game, Platinum\u2019s\u00a0<em>Scalebound<\/em> are all skipping E3 this year.<\/p>\n<p>What surprises might Microsoft have in store?<\/p>\n<p>Now that the Kinect is set aside and Microsoft is on the brink of releasing Windows 10, we can expect to see some more functionality that takes advantage of both, as well as some idea of where the Xbox One\u00a0is headed in terms of new features. I\u2019m hoping Microsoft announces the rumored DVR capability.<\/p>\n<p>HoloLens is sure to be on display as well, and maybe we\u2019ll even see how Microsoft plans to integrate it into the Xbox One\u00a0experience.<\/p>\n<p>For games,\u00a0we know Rare isn\u2019t working on Kinect games anymore, so we\u2019re hoping they\u2019re working on\u00a0something more focused on core gamers, whether it\u2019s a new IP or an old one.\u00a0<em>Battletoads, Banjo Kazooie,\u00a0<\/em>or\u00a0<em>Blast Corps,<\/em> anyone?
