Slated to arrive during the holiday season of 2015, the dashboard changes everything with what Microsoft\u2019s Xbox team has dubbed \u201cthe New Xbox One Experience.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>So, what does \u201cthe New Xbox One Experience\u201d promise? Well, chief among the roster of changes is faster performance. The dashboard will, supposedly, fly with this new design. It will also arrive with Cortana, the voice recognition software that will drive gaming and navigation on the console.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Everything you want, when you want it<\/p>\n<p>Get faster access to your favorite games and content on Xbox One home, now with a more intelligent voice experience and expanded social engagement \u2013 all from your home screen.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Faster performance<\/li>\n<li>Improved game experience<\/li>\n<li>Vertical scrolling allows faster access to activities and content<\/li>\n<li>Expanded social content and engagement<\/li>\n<li>More intelligent voice experience with Cortana<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"New Xbox One Experience\" width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/kZXvz9oDOmk?feature=oembed\"  allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>All out-of-game functions like notifications, friend messages and party set-up are going to lie behind a single button press. Microsoft says that you won\u2019t have to leave your game to get to these features anymore, which means none of that pesky pausing and menu switching slowed down by UI stuff.<\/p>\n<p>Again, this update is coming during the holiday of this year. We\u2019ll definitely have more on it as it comes.
