T-Mobile CEO John Legere likes to act like a man of the people, but he certainly takes home a lot more money than the everyday U.S. wireless consumer. In fact, Legere makes more than the corporate honchos he enjoys trashing on the regular, including the bigwigs at AT&T and Verizon, according to new documents T-Mobile recently filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not that other guys made pennies, however. AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson brought home about $23.34 million in 2013, while Verizon CEO Lowell McAdam took home about $15.82 million. Legere, on the other hand, made $29.24 million last year. A large chunk of that, $22.5 million, was awarded in stock, $4.83 million was provided from incentive programs, and another We\u2019re not knocking someone for bringing home a lot of dough \u2014 more power to him. Sprint CEO Dan Hesse, for example, brought in about $49 million last year. It\u2019s just that most of these wireless CEO\u2019s don\u2019t knock on other carriers, or paint a capitalist corporate picture of carriers that are run by wealthy people trying to take your money.
