Will reopen as we get more capacity deployed<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Chaitanya Kanojia (@ckanojia) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ckanojia\/status\/429296520811536384?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 31, 2014<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Last night cordcutter Karl Bode decided to set up Aereo ahead of the Super Bowl this weekend, only to learn that the popular service is \u201csold out in New York.\u201d In a follow-up email, the company confirmed that after two years of service it\u2019s run out of capacity in some markets. \u201cAs soon as additional capacity is added, new consumers will be notified that they can sign up,\u201d Aereo added.<\/p>\n<p>Aereo works by using dime-sized antennas to stream local TV to your mobile device, desktop browser or set-top box. The service costs $8 per month and comes with built-in DVR .
