It also offers some data, though not a lot, in case you travel frequently to those destinations.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>With Sprint Open World, you\u2019ll have access to roaming in 34 countries, too. If you end up in Canada or Mexico, you\u2019ll get 1GB of free 3G data before Sprint begins to charge $30 per GB \u2014 billed in \u201cMB\u201d increments. Roaming in those 34 aforementioned countries will cost you 20 cents\/minute for voice calls, while text messages are free and data will cost you $30 for each GB. Calls to the Dominican Republic start at 5 cents\u00a0a minute.<\/p>\n<p>Sprint calls the \u201cOpen World\u201d plans an add-on, so you probably need to call or walk into a store to add it to your account, though it\u2019s advertised as \u201cfree,\u201d so it shouldn\u2019t cost you anything.
