The invitation-only feature will offer up to 100 hours of cloud DVR storage, with no time limit on recordings.<\/p>\n<p>The beta will officially launch in December and slowly roll out to additional platforms over the next few months. In order to receive an invite, you have to submit your Sling TV credentials to this <a href=\"http:\/\/cts.businesswire.com\/ct\/CT?id=smartlink&amp;url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.sling.com%2Fdvr&amp;esheet=51466669&amp;newsitemid=20161128005559&amp;lan=en-US&amp;anchor=www.sling.com%2Fdvr&amp;index=2&amp;md5=b419c95f9c68bfab1a45333e7c23a881\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">link<\/a>. Sling says that submitting your credentials does not guarantee access into the beta program.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>With Sling TV\u2019s Cloud DVR feature, users are free to record movies, episodes, and full series, and even record multiple programs simultaneously. However, DVR functionality will not be available on all channels, according to\u00a0Sling, which didn\u2019t specify what channels\u00a0aren\u2019t participating in the feature.<\/p>\n<p>Sling says the experience will be super simple for customers. DVR content will be integrated directly into Sling TV\u2019s \u201cMy TV\u201d screen, and space will be managed automatically; oldest watched programs will be deleted to make room for new recordings.<\/p>\n<h3>Request an invite and start testing next month<\/h3>\n<p>If you don\u2019t have Sling TV, you can sign up today and get a free Roku stick (a $50 value), so long as you pay for 3 months up front.
