It\u2019s something that\u2019s been a part of Android TV since Nougat, but will finally make its way to smartphones and tablets with the next major build of the open-source operating system.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>As Android O \u2014 its official flavor is still yet to be announced \u2014 is currently available as a Developer Preview, a number of applications have already added compatibility\u00a0for PIP, including Duo, Play Movies and VLC. However, one major name has been missing from the list: Chrome. Up until now, that is.<\/p>\n<p>On Sunday, Google apparently rolled out the feature in a server-side update for the Chrome Dev application.
