Instead of seeing a \u201cmax exodus,\u201d the company is actually still growing, on Tuesday announcing the app sees 100 million monthly active users\u201410 million more than last month.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>On Instagram\u2019s blog, co-founder Kevin Systrom reminisces about the company\u2019s humble beginnings, and the amazing community that has shaped the app\u2019s success. \u201cIt\u2019s easy to see this as an accomplishment for a company, but I think the truth is that it\u2019s an accomplishment for our community,\u201d Systrom said.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s quite the accomplishment for a company that still has such a small team, and shows the community is an integral part\u2014you, me, friends, family. Instagram has never been about the filters, but the sharing.
