Disney cuts ties with Netflix—Here’s why

Disney is ending its exclusive deal with Netflix in favor of launching its own streaming service.

Nearly ever content provider is thinking about starting its own streaming service, so Disney’s decision doesn’t come as a surprise. Its deal with Netflix runs through 2019, which is also the year it’ll launch its own streaming service where Disney movies and content from its entities like Disney Channel will be available. Upon the launch of the Disney streaming service, the main titles that will be available will be Toy Story 4 and the sequel to Frozen.

When a console manufacturer is getting ready to unleash a new system, making sure it has games is crucial. That’s no different when releasing an upgrade, but it’s a much tougher equation. Showing developers how easy it is to work with the new hardware is key to getting them to spend time and money on it. Microsoft has done just that, and we can glean some better ideas about the system’s power from what the company has said. Eurogamer‘s DigitalFoundry gathered and verified some benchmark information for the Xbox One X from various developer contacts and laid the information out for us.

OnePlus 5 has a frustrating bug when recording video

It appears that the OnePlus 5 has a hidden talent, though we’re not sure it’s one you’re going to appreciate. According to a number of Reddit users, videos recorded in landscape mode on the handset are being rendered with inverted audio, which essentially means that sound captured using the microphone on the right of the device is being played through the left speaker and vice versa.

There’s some good news, though: OnePlus should be able to fix the glitch using a software update as the bug is apparently caused by a faulty line of code. When exactly the upgrade will arrive remains a mystery, but we’ve contacted the firm to find out and will update this post if we hear back. In the meantime, here’s a video of the bug in action.
