Now that the LittleBigPlanet 3 beta is out in the hands of select gamers, one video has popped up that compares the graphics between the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 versions in shot-for-shot style.

The video does a great job showcasing how the games compare. To be perfectly, brutally honest with my personal opinions, I really don’t think the PlayStation 4 version is that much better. It’s undeniably sharper and better textured, but the visual need to pick up a new console for a far fancier version of the same LittleBigPlanet 3 just isn’t there.

Given the choice, sure, I’ll definitely go with the Ps4 version of this game. But the differences are far less remarkable than I thought they’d be.

LittleBigPlanet 3‘s group of Sacked-Up heroes will take to the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 beginning on Nov. 18, 2014. We’ll have more on this adventure in frivolous fun as it comes.
