Apple recently released iOS 8.1.2, which was a minor software update that fixed a few bugs. Now, according to user logs spotted browsing MacRumors, it appears that yet another minor update is on its way. The patch is expected before a larger release of iOS 8.2, which will add-in additional functionality for the Apple Watch and apps that developers are creating for the new wearable. iOS 8.2. beta 2 was recently pushed to developers.

MacRumors said the “number of hits from iOS 8.1.3″ remains low, but that there are incoming hits coming from Apple servers, suggesting that it’s indeed an official build that’s already being tested internally. It remains a mystery what the patch will include, however, though given that it’s an incremental update it probably won’t offer larger changes that will launch inside of a major update like iOS 8.2.

We don’t know when iOS 8.1.3 will roll out, either, but we’ll be sure to let you know as soon as it does.
