Activision and Treyarch are back with an official confirmation that Call of Duty: Black Ops III is indeed in development. Both companies provided a reveal trailer, new screenshots, and some details about the story, gameplay, and modes to get this hype train rolling right into November.
The game will take place far in the future with new Black Ops soldiers who tiptoe along the thin line between robots and humans, a burden strapped to them thanks to artificial augmentations that have been added to their bodies. It looks like someone is trying to move in on Deus Ex: Mankind Divided’s storytelling turf. Something tells me that Call of Duty is the underdog in this department, but it will certainly destroy Deus Ex with its multiplayer focus and the huge bags of cash Activision rolls into the bank.
“What happens when a soldier becomes the weapon?” This is what happens, Activision.

As for gameplay, zombies are of course coming back, and this entry’s twist sounds almost like parkour. Call of Duty: Black Ops III ditches the jet packs from Advanced Warfare for the ability to combine movements while running through a stage. No doubt, you can also expect the tried-and-true multiplayer modes which have taken the franchise into whole new levels of popularity. It’s almost like perpetual a machine keeps cranking these out!
Pre-orders will land gamers in the beta. You can redeem your codes at the official website. Call of Duty:Black Ops III will be released on Nov. 6 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
