Apple just announced that it will hold its iPhone 6s event on Wednesday, September 9. The event will be held at 10 a.m. Pacific at the Bill graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco. The news confirms earlier rumors that pegged the same date, and it’s where we are expecting Apple to unveil the iPhone 6s, the iPhone 6s Plus and perhaps even a new Apple TV unit.

There are also rumors that suggest Apple will unveil new iPads during the event, instead of during a separate press conference in October. New iPads may include an iPad Pro, an iPad Air 3 and an iPad mini 4.

Apple will also almost certainly discuss iOS 9, the release date, new features and how it will work with Force Touch, which is expected in both new iPhones. A report from earlier Thursday suggested the new phones will sport 12MP cameras, A9 chips, 4k video recording and more.
