Xbox’s backwards compatibility poll continues to separate the most popular Xbox 360 games and prep and prim them up for an Xbox One debut. While we await a second wave of games to be announced, Square Enix seems to think that it will be one of the companies to benefit thanks to Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

When the official Deus Ex Twitter page was asked by a fan of the potential of seeing Human Revolution on Xbox One, it replied positively with hoping of giving “good news soon.”

No, it doesn’t specifically says that it has good news, but it does “hope” to have good news. Either way, at least Square Enix is in talks with Microsoft on the prospect of allowing its games be played on the newer consoles.

The move would make sense, making Human Revolution playable just in time for the launch of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided on Feb. 23 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

How about that Infinite Undiscovery, Square Enix? You want the shadow of that ghost to continue on for another generation? I know I’d like to see it.
