Gears of War is coming to Xbox One. Most gamers would have had little doubt about that eventuality, especially given that Gears of War has been a banner series for Microsoft ever since Emergence Day on the Xbox 360.
Xbox Head Phil Spencer took to Twitter to announce that he has, in fact, seen the latest from Black Tusk Studio regarding the upcoming Gears.

The @GearsViking Spencer mentions there is not the name of the game. At least, I’m fairly certain of that fact. It’s Rod Fergusson’s Twitter handle, and he’s the Studio Manager at Black Tusk Studios.
With “massive progress” made on Gears, I imagine we’ll absolutely be hearing and seeing more from this anticipated Xbox One game in the near future. Whether it will have to wait until this year’s E3, of course, remains to be seen.
