I have a bit of a good news/bad news situation for you today when it comes to Grand Theft Auto V and its PC release and Online Heists.

We’ll start with the bad, because that’s they type of person I am. Grand Theft Auto V‘s PC version has been delayed again. The most recent release date was March 24th. Go ahead and push that back until April 14th. Rockstar’s really sorry this time, I think, and their giving anyone who has pre-ordred the game an extra $200,000 in-game cash for use in GTA Online. Cool, but I think we’d all rather have the game.

It needs more polish, is what they’re saying, so that means we’ll see it roughly a month later than most recently expected. Unless they delay it again, of course.

Now, the good news? We have a release date for the Online Heists mode. Online Heists will be available to all current versions of Grand Theft Auto V beginning on March 10th. Rockstar says that they’ll have more on that mode in the next “couple of weeks.”

There you have it. A delay for the PC version and a hard release date for one of the most anticipated gameplay modes we’ve seen in a long time. I hope Rockstar ties this bow off nicely, because all of these delays have been bad news.
