While T-Mobile may have beaten Google to selling its own Nexus 9 LTE, the carrier didn’t have its exclusivity for long. The same tablet can now be purchased directly from the Play Store (if you live in the U.S., at least), with prices starting at $599.
Like T-Mobile, Google is only offering the Indigo Black model with 32GB of storage for now, so those who want the Lunar White and Sand models, or the cheaper variant with only 16GB of storage, are going to have to wait longer.
The good news is, the one model that is available is still in stock at the time of writing this post, and shipping will begin on Friday, December 19, so you should receive it in time for the holidays.
Aside from its added 4G connectivity, the Nexus 9 LTE is identical to the original model. In addition to its 8.9-inch Quad HD displays, you get NVIDIA’s latest Tegra K1 processor clocked at 2.3GHz, 2GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, and front-facing BoomSound stereo speakers.
If you don’t need the 4G connection, the Nexus 9 will cost you just $399 for 16GB of storage and $479 with 32GB of storage.
