It’s going to be a rough September for Netflix. Luckily, the popular streaming service has some solid original content to fall back on.
In addition to the recent Epix announcement, the list of movies being added and taken down from the service has hit, and it’s not for the feint of heart. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but Agent Cody Banks 2: Destination London will no longer be available for streaming.

No, but seriously, there are some terrific movies leaving the service next month, including the films as part of that Epix deal. One of the bigger ironies is the fact that Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon is being taken down; if you remember, Netflix has plans to release the movie’s long-awaited sequel sometime next year.

On the bright side, Netflix is adding plenty of new movies and TV shows, but the list isn’t nearly as strong as the movies being taken down. It’s been a rollercoaster for Netflix this year, with more good going out than coming in. As I said above, however, the service has a lot of original content to sift through; in September, Netflix will exclusively offer season 4 of Longmire, VeggieTales in the House: Season 1, and Puffin Rock: Season 1.

Check out both lists below. And be warned: the list of movies and TV shows going out is pretty killer, so start binge watching now if you want to catch up on content such as The Lost Boys, Total Recall, High Fidelity and Anchorman 2.
