It appears that the OnePlus 5 has a hidden talent, though we’re not sure it’s one you’re going to appreciate. According to a number of Reddit users, videos recorded in landscape mode on the handset are being rendered with inverted audio, which essentially means that sound captured using the microphone on the right of the device is being played through the left speaker and vice versa.

There’s some good news, though: OnePlus should be able to fix the glitch using a software update as the bug is apparently caused by a faulty line of code. When exactly the upgrade will arrive remains a mystery, but we’ve contacted the firm to find out and will update this post if we hear back. In the meantime, here’s a video of the bug in action.
