Whether the PS4 or Xbox One has a more comfortable controller is up for debate. But there’s no doubting how awesome Microsoft’s new Elite Wireless Controller is. Consider this the mechanical keyboard of the console world.

This isn’t simply a controller with new sheen; the Elite Wireless Controller is for the most diehard gamers out there. While it looks like the Xbox One controller you know and love, it’s a completely modular version, giving users the opportunity to customize it to their liking.

Designed for the Xbox One and Windows 10, the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller offers swappable components, hair trigger locks, and endless customization. You’ll be able to choose from a variety of thumbsticks, D-pads, and paddles for an experience that’s perfect for you. And in addition to swapping components, you can re-map buttons and paddles, tweak thumbstick sensitivity curves, and also change the min/max values of the triggers.

If you consider yourself more than a casual gamer, then the Elite Wireless Controller is probably something you’ll want to check out. No pricing or release date was revealed, but you can bet it won’t be cheap. An Xbox One Wireless Controller is currently $59.99 through Amazon.
