You wanted big games? Xbox Games with Gold for June is all about big games. They’re a bit older, but there’s no doubt that most of the games this month are flagship titles.

On the Xbox One side, the month starts out with an indie game called Speedrunners, a multiplayer racing game that lets you pick from a number of mascot characters and then race through winding courses against your friends. Having played this one on PC, I can vouch for it – this is a worthy inclusion.

But onto the big guns

The second half of the month, though, features Watch Dogs from Ubisoft. While the game didn’t end up living up to all the promises it made, it was still a big, open game with lots to do and a massive city to explore.

On the Xbox 360 side are two huge games. Assassin’s Creed III comes first, while Dragon Age: Origins closes out the second half of the month. Both of these titles are, as usual, backwards compatible on Xbox One as well as being playable on Xbox 360.

On top of that, there’s also some bonus Phantom Dust DLC coming. The game is out now and free to play, so this will be a nice bonus for anyone already enjoying the game. The DLC amounts to a $14.99 value, Microsoft says.

Between those three, that’s likely more than you’ll have time for next month, especially considering the excitement of E3. Speedrunners and the Phantom Dust DLC are available all month long, starting June 1. Assassin’s Creed III is available starting June 1, while Watch Dogs and Dragon Age: Origins go live on June 16.
