Google could be forced to delay the long-awaited Android 8.0 Oreo update if it’s unable to fix a connectivity issue that beta testers are currently experiencing.
According to the firm’s Product Forums, the latest build of Oreo disrupts Bluetooth playback through Android Auto, headphones and speakers.
Big G is requesting that beta testers affected by the issue submit a comprehensive report, so it can distribute a patch as soon as possible.
All hands on deck, Google!
We’re hoping it won’t take Google more than a week to fix the problem, otherwise there’s a chance it will need to delay the final rollout—and nobody wants that.
